THE MACHINE
Famously used by Francis Coppola to write the Godfather script, the Lettera 33 was originally made in Italy before production was moved abroad. This particular model was one of those first few to be made in Italy in 1966.
 
The Lettera 33 was mechanically modelled after the iconic Lettera 32, often described as "Lettera 32 in a tuxedo." It kept the hardy and streamlined mechanics while updating into a sleek, modern design.
 
Astute hobbyists will note the distinctive racing strip on the case, as well as the leather trim on the shell. It's distinctive font transforms any page into a work of art, and it types so, so, so well.
 
This mint condition machine is the perfect addition to any true typewriter connoisseur's collection.
